From SDQ to Santo Domingo’s historic center
Las Américas International Airport is east of central Santo Domingo. The drive to the Colonial Zone is approximately 28–30 km and commonly takes about 35–50 minutes, but traffic entering the city can make the trip longer at busy times. Your drop-off should be the full hotel or property address rather than only “Zona Colonial.”
The current catalog maps the broader Santo Domingo destination zone and properties including Hotel Villa Colonial, Hodelpa Novus Plaza, Kimpton Las Mercedes, and other city hotels. If your lodging is not listed, send the complete name, street, and a map link to reservations.
Historic streets and final drop-off
Some streets in and around the historic center are narrow, one-way, pedestrian-prioritized, temporarily closed, or difficult for larger vehicles. The closest legal vehicle access may not always be directly at a doorway. Confirm any special arrival instructions with the hotel and share them before pickup.
Meeting at Las Américas Airport
Add the airline, flight number, arrival date, and passenger phone to the reservation. Follow the confirmed meeting instructions after customs and baggage claim. Avoid accepting an unverified offer from someone who does not match the reservation details.
Late arrivals and hotel reception
If the flight arrives late, confirm that the hotel or rental has overnight reception and that someone can grant access. The driver’s responsibility is transportation to the confirmed drop-off; property check-in and key collection remain between the traveler and accommodation.
The public search does not currently have an automatic configured price for SDQ to the Santo Domingo zone. Reservations must confirm the route, exact Colonial Zone address, vehicle, and current quote.
